• Cultural interventions in disadvantaged communities

To unleash the creative potential of the intervention area of ​​the project will create conditions for the operation of 12 artistic interventions in 12 different communities. These interventions represent a practical step training courses and will be achieved through cooperation between young artists trained in training courses, children and youth in the community and other stakeholders in the community (representatives of public institutions, teachers, parents, etc.). The project aims to achieve a genuine interaction between young artists, on the one hand and community on the other. The purpose of this intervention is to improve the quality of life for children, youth and the community at large, providing a framework for their participation in the new ways of cultural expression locally.

In doing so, they will participate in a participatory cultural activity in their community, which calls for active involvement by means attractive cultural expression.

For children whose parents work abroad, art can serve as therapy have beneficial effects both emotionally and socially: increased self-esteem and personal development, making friends and providing a sense of pleasure and psychological comfort for participants.

In selected communities is interdisciplinary cultural activities. Use means of intervention such as theater, visual arts, music, literature, street art, film, photography, etc. Each intervention is designed taking into account the professional structure of the 24 artists selected communities and specific identity. A minimum of 360 young children (Roma, migrant children whose parents are working abroad, disadvantaged children and youth in rural and underdeveloped urban neighborhoods, children and youth with disabilities in schools in the project area) will participate these activities.

To ensure sustainability of the project, these interventions are made with community schools and other public institutions.
